It's A Zoo Life is conveniently located at 4313 NC Hwy 42, Macclesfield North Carolina. We provide everything needed to ensure you have a great experience with our exotic animals in a family friendly environment! We are a USDA licensed facility and highly trained to care for each of our unique animals. All of them are up to date on their shots and receive lots of daily attention from our staff.

 

We currently have 100+ animals at our facility, including lots of exotics such as a zebra, lemurs, alpacas, llama, kangaroos, sloth, Patagonian cavy, camel, coatimundi, porcupines, capybara,  wolf, cockatoo, and tortoises, along with many farm animals.  

All visitors to the Zoo are required to participate in a guided tour, which are by appointment ONLY.

Tours last approximately 1 1/2 hours, during which time you will go within selected animals' habitats for encounters, along with a knowledgeable staff member in a small group.
